Pedro was born on the 13th of March 1972. He grew up in a small village near Ghent called Schelderode. Trough his grandfather, he was given the spirit of music. Music then was and still is one of the biggest pillars in his life. As his grandfather was a respected and experienced neighbourhood DJ during Pedro's youth, he came in contact with a wide range of music and influences. At early age it became obvious that he had some singing talent. Whenever some events took place in school, Pedro was given one of the jobs when singing had to be done. As time went by he devoloped his skills by himself singing along to his favourite songs and soon he realised music had turned out to be his passion.
Mid 80's he started combining singing with playing some piano, and later synthesizer. Not with the intention of joining a band as keyboardist, but to be able to write and record his own music. Of course this was kept to a low level by his family, because to them, music wasn't something you could make a life of. Only the singing in church and on religious events was encouraged. Furthermore Pedro's preference leaned to hard-rock and metal, music his severe christian raised parents couldn't get used to. However...passion can not be held back, so soon his desire to play in a band became reality. With some friends who were into the same type of music, he formed his first band. Rehearsing in his garage, the only audience available were some neighbours complaining about the amps reaching a too high volumelevel.

End 80's he joined a hard-rockband called RW, which brought own material and a cover version of Seven doors hotel, a Europe song. RW played on some local small events and received positive critisism. The band split after about 2 years. During that time Pedro got his hand on a tape of an American progressive band then still called Majesty, now being Dream Theater. That tape really changed his entire musical ideas. A really large interest grew into drums and percussion. So one day he made a decision, he sold some synths and bought his first drumkit. In the early stages of his drumhype, he actually kept on singing and a friend who wasn't allowed to buy a drum because of noise-issues, drummed on his kit. He soon realised that some decent lessons were recquired

Early 90's he joined his first band as a drummer, called Dzillian. A deathmetal band with a lot of fast doublebass stuff. The vocal style of the music wasn't his deal at all. Grown up on singers as Joey Tempest and Michael Matjevic, he just couldn't get used to gruntish vocals of a deathmetal band so he left after a few gigs. Mid 90's Pedro started his own project called Fantessa. Finding the right people for a 80's minded musical project during that time turned out to be an unreachable goal. For a while he continued writing songs but after a few years, dissappointed by the lonely quest for fitting musicians, he decided to put his musical occupations for Fantessa in the closet. Now, years later, Pedro is working on his first promotional full demo-album for Fantessa : When Angels Fall.

In 2004 he formed, together with a keyboardist who played with the likes of "Beyond the Labyrinth" and "Magic Kingdom", a gothic metal band. In his search for a bassplayer for Mysterica, he came into contact with Ron. Soon they became good friends, sharing the same musical ideas. Ron at that time also played bass in a coverband. After that band he started playing keyboards in a Pink Floyd tribute formation. In search for a drummer, Ron contacted Pedro to see if he was interested. Not knowing the work of Pink Floyd very well, Pedro hesitated to take the job. Nevertheless he took the challenge and performs now the drumsparts as well as the vocalwork.
